I fail at the world.

So yeah, previous entries suggest my experience with teh love lifes is going badly. But boy was I in for a surprise.

Today should have been good. We get an hour each week off the phones for personal research porpoises. I also had a meeting, so combined today was full of win, two hours off that broke up all my on-phone time nicely. But oh, no. My manager informs me at the meeting that customer service levels are really crappy this month. I did get a couple of nasty Comment Cards from users recently, though that's not the norm. But still, I'm the sacrifical lamb to go demonstrate our goodwill, by personally going on-site to fix some issues for some of the moodier idio- er, users.

First guy was an ass. Second was some little old lady who I swear didn't know you don't plug a USB mouse into an Ethernet port. No, it didn't actually fit. Third one was an otherwise nice girl (real cute too) who was all kinds of mad.

I won't bore you with technical details, but by this point I'd really had it. Walk out of work bad, no but bleh, still bad. But then somehow I figure out the issue real quick (it was stupid easy, really) and suddenly she's real quiet. She felt really bad for being angry and I was courteous (despite plotting hers and everyone's doom in my head) and suddenly she asks me if I'd like it if she took me to dinner.

EEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!!?

Really, she was cute and nice, and it was understandable she was mad earlier. I'm not the type to get handed a really nice gesture and think the whole day's turning around, though. Course I was right. Turns out her ex works down the hall and overheard her (somehow, jealous bastige grr!) and starts a fight with her on the spot.

Now, I hate behavior like that. Add to that I hate asshole guys, and also was watching a perfectly good opportunity to graciously receive a kind gesture from a really cute girl (who knows if it'd go anywhere but hey it could be a sign!) and he's totally screwing up the mood. Frustration, pegged. So I turn around prepared to bull him out of the office and slap the shit out of him, half in defense of cute girl and half for my own tired brain's sake, but then all of a sudden my mom got scared she said 'You're movin' to live with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air' I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror if anything I can say this cab is rare but I thought 'Naw forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'...

...

So I fail at the world for this April Fool's joke.

Well, sorta. Work has been on the up, ever so slightly. I'm very tentative about saying this. Mainly, as I may just have lost the ability to care enough to take advantage of it. So is the way of those who lose their faith in their job. However, I might make it. Still to be determined.

Girlfriend seems in a funk lately. She's a very sweet girl, I think staying home and stuck in the job search too long is wearing on her. I also much more easily annoy her..things I messed up that she'd get over now bother her...and continue to. Plus it doesn't help that I won't get the money to see her for at least another couple of months.

And at home, well. Bills continue to pile up. This is part of why I won't get to see the girl for awhile. Internet's fixing to get shut off and...I'm beginning to realize I can't foot a bill for a trip to CA alone without repercussions hitting me for at least a month after.

Also, looking to expand music interests. Anyone got a good suggestion?

So it occurs to me as I pass into another weekend that I won't stay at my current company. A lot of previous posts hint at this but the final straw is that selling stuff will be required. A low amount, mind, but still I am the type of person who at a sales job will frequently sell NOTHING. Just who I am, I hate being pitched something when I don't want to buy, so I find it impolite to "push" a sale. Anyhoo. Will stay with it for now, cause really the people I work directly with are awesome. Sometime in the next couple months will see me leaving likely though.

Car needs work. It's good, and she holds together much better than I deserve, so some much needed work is needed. Perhaps this weekend I can at least do an oil change. I'd do it myself, but yet again I find myself living at a place where showing mechanical savy on "community property" is frowned on. Guess the rich college kiddies can't stand seeing someone knowing something they don't, basic though it is. I mean...what do they think I'll do? Get oil all over my hands and walk towards them with fingers clawed going "RAAAAAGGGHHHH!"

...

Ok, so I would totally do that.

Game stuff: Burning Croosaid is upon us. I faced the rush to Hellfire with stoicism, resolve, bravery, and promptly ran soiling my robes upon sighting the first Fel Reaver. To my credit, I haven't been ganked by one yet though a few Horde took care of that. I'm amused by the rogue who ganked me at half health/mana, then tried to gank me again with my party of four while we were distracted killing Azzaruis the Cruel. However, I not only kept DoTs up on him, contributing to his defeat, but killed the rogue in the meantime. Sometimes, despite facing all the hate, I love being a warlock. ^^

Leveling a shammy also. Always meant to do this since the second month playing when I was still Horde, only now I finally have a chance to do so with all the great people I play with now, on Alliance.

Well, I'm getting tired a bit, as I almost accidentally deleted this whole post, so, goodnight world, tomorrow sees me claiming either clam chowder or tasty pizza for runch. :)

In short, if anyone knows of a place that's hiring that pays decently well, lemme know.

I'm looking to be out of my current job and moving on to the new one ASAP, or end of January at the latest. Fun one, only hope my comp has enough space.

But if anyone is up for some lunch, just gimme a call. :) Currently starving and fiending for some coffee. :\

And I'm not tired. That much, anyhow. *groan* See how this goes tomorrow morning.

Random question-ness. So how cool would an samurai-anime character be if his sword-style was based on hitting his opponent as they hit him?
